Wyoming is one of God’s most breathtakingly beautiful places. I am so blessed to live and work here. I was born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming, and I’m proud to say that I am raising my family here as well. In 2008, I married my best friend, Elizabeth, and we had our first baby in September 2010. Sweet Baby James is the love of our lives!!

We are both smitten with Sheridan and enjoy being very involved in our burgeoning community. Elizabeth is a Hearing Instrument Specialist whose family-run company has been a proud member of the Sheridan business community for over two decades, and I am excited to say that Iron Mountain Anvil has now been serving Sheridan, and the nation, for 12 years!

I began my blacksmithing career in Sheridan when I was 18 years old. Now, at 30, I am more passionate about designing and creating my art than ever! There is nothing better than going to a job every day that makes me feel alive! Each custom project is a canvas on which I express my creativity.

There is no shortage of inspiration for my work. I use Wyoming’s streams, wildlife and mountainsides as my muses. Most often, I employ rustic, earthy designs and natural colors in my pieces; however, I enjoy nothing more than taking someone’s dream and bringing it to life. I am no stranger to unique and difficult designs and love to make customers’ and designers’ wildest design dreams come true.

When I am not working, I love to spend my time with my family, fly fishing in the Big Horn Mountains, and making music with my brothers. We have been playing bluegrass music in our band, The Craft Brothers, since I can remember. Just three Wyoming boys who love to spend our summer nights pickin’ and grinnin’ around the campfire.
